We invite you to the Tartu Food and Wine Festival’s gala dinner at the Restaurant Polpo!
The gala dinner will be prepared by Polpo’s Chef de Cuisine, Karl Pajusaar. Hannes Adela, drink expert from Prike AS, will be helping to make the best selections to accompany the food.
In terms of wine recommendations for the evening we will be focusing on Chardonnay grapes and will be showing how wine made from one type of grape using different methods goes together with food.

Dinner with Andre Farm
This year, Andre Farm is bringing the Tartu Food and Wine Festival to Restaurant Antonius!
Located in Kambja Rural Municipality, Andre Farm is a place where the cows are called Mummus, they are pampered with hugs, and even mediated with. The cows here care about people, and the people do everything possible to ensure that the animals are provided with a good and secure environment.
In 2015, the production of cheese from the milk of the Mummus began. High quality Gouda type cheeses are prepared, with different tastes and ripening periods. Cheeses from the Andre Cheese Farm are the first food products made in Estonia to have earned important international as well as domestic recognition.
At the Food and Wine Festival dinner, Reimo Tättar, head chef at the Restaurant Antonius, will prepare a 5 course dinner, in which Andre Farm cheeses will have cleverly found their way into one or more dishes. The Andre Farm family will be present for the evening, introducing their story, explaining what is taking place today, and sharing their ideas for the future.
