The second weekend of August in Tartu promises unforgettable experiences for food lovers. Southern Estonia’s largest food and wine festival will combine unique flavors with excellent wines.
On the main festival days, August 7 and 8, visitors are invited to the heart of Tartu, where the festival’s food area stretches from the Tartu Kaubamaja department store along Küüni Street to Town Hall Square, as well as Poe Street and Barclay Park. The street food area offers both exciting new flavors and beloved classics – enjoy meals from cozy pop-up eateries or grab a quick bite from food trucks and relax in the picnic area. The charismatic jazz singer Susanna Aleksandra will host the event.
The festival also features special dinners and a vibrant wine area with variety of trainings and special events.

Fii Restaurant – A pop-up full of surprises and guaranteed fine-dining quality
Lihuniku Äri – Offers locally sourced beef, lamb and pork, aged for at least 21 days and crafted by the butcher and head chef according to a farm-to-table philosophy.
Terra – brings its pop-up Chef’s Table to the festival, offering a multi-course menu inspired by South Estonian ingredients, paired wines, and a beautifully set table in the heart of the festival atmosphere
Kolm Tilli – Beloved street food restaurant with timeless house classics: Neapolitan-style pizzas, oven-baked pasta, and chicken wings
Paper Tiger – One of Tartu’s newest downtown restaurants brings modern Asian street food flair to the festival
Reusable Dishware Deposit Prices
A deposit fee applies to some food and drink items served at the festival. Used items can be returned to the deposit return point located on Küüni Street, next to the “Father and Son” sculpture, and the deposit will be refunded.

Wine glasses are not part of the deposit return system.
This is a public event. The organizer will be taking photos, videos, and audio recordings during the event and will share them with participants as well as on public media channels. The materials may also be used in Tartu city’s marketing and communication materials.
