In Tartu, the first weekend of August will offer gourmands a particularly memorable experience, as the largest food and wine festival in Southern Estonia will be taking place, combining unique tastes with excellent wines.

This year, the Tartu Food and Wine Festival is celebrating its fifth anniversary in a new guise, in terms of both appearance and content, focusing more than ever on combining food and wine. This summer, the festival’s food area will be set up along Vabaduse Boulevard, near Kaarsild Bridge, where you can try and buy the products of small Estonian producers, dine in nice pop-up restaurants, or grab a lite bite from street food trucks and enjoy yourself in the picnic area decorated with lights in the park.
